The lost palanquin of night's dearest

We are an impossible dream,

seeking the shelter of eyes,
to live through the dark
begging for a forgiving night
to forget in its shadows,
this cruel world and everything else.
We in our daydream,
painful and beloved,
merge forever,
under a mournful sun.
We in the spring of our love
like two leaves that the wind,
has brought together in autumn,
We are two beings in one,
who loving each other die,
to keep the secret of their love.
We are two teardrops,
in a requiem of agony and ecstasy.
But what will life matter,
when we are separated?
Nothing more are we,
but an unforgiven dream...

Being conscious of my ignorance

Edgar Allan Poe once said, "Convinced myself, I seek not to convince".
Similar line of thought I followed, but not seeking does not excuse you from receiving. Through all these years and many among my friends suggested, asked, requested, goaded, suckered, even threatened to find a wall to draw the hieroglyphics of my thoughts and not to let these wander away in oblivion. And all this time I kept evading a straight look at the idea; may be my cocoon was too safe to venture out and perhaps I was content with the windows of my psyche closed to others. But as always happens, someone comes along and releases the bird you cherished for so long and when released, you look at it flying and realize that all this while its feathers were to bright to be caged. So, someone convinced me and here I am. With my virgin post on my blog.
I am sure it will make some of my visitors happy, some will be surprised and some will just smile because they know me and well enough so. But I know, all will be my fellow travelers on this journey. So, for all the angels and demons, wanderers and seekers, wishers and sinners, Bon Voyage through my wall of collage composed of continuum of reminiscences and frozen moments from present. This wall will also be my slate to spread what I have collected and to collect what has been spread.
On a more serious note; Many of you might have followed US presidential elections. I did, and more or less felt like being audience to a familiar circus until the dawn broke on Wednesday. Senator Barack Obama (rather President..) was elected not only the president of the US, but also flag bearer of hope and herald of change. Global reaction to his election was a total surprise to me, these positive notes poured in from everywhere, even the remotest and uninfluenced corners of the world. I realized that I am watching history in making, Barack is now more than a man, he has risen to become a phenomenon. It was a very special experience to be witness of such a thing. I hope and wish he will be able to shoulder and justify the expectations and promises well.
Keep the faith.
